Electrical Requirements for Hot Tubs

Most Common Setup: 240V Hardwired

  • Dedicated 240V circuit from your main panel
  • Typically 50 amps, sometimes 60A depending on tub size and features
  • GFCI protection required — usually in a spa disconnect panel placed 5–10 feet away from the tub
  • Buried conduit (typically PVC or flexible) if the disconnect or tub is outside
  • All wiring and components must meet NEC 680 and local codes

Plug-and-Play Hot Tubs (120V)
Can plug into a standard outlet, but still require:

  • Dedicated GFCI-protected circuit
  • Proper weatherproofing for outdoor setups
  • Lower power = slower heating & fewer features (like jets or lights)

SAUNAS

We install both traditional electric dry saunas and modern infrared saunas, with full attention to safety, code compliance, and clean workmanship.

Great For…

  • Home Gyms
  • Basement or Garage Conversions
  • Wellness Rooms
  • New Construction Projects
  • Upgraded Luxury Bathrooms

What We Provide:

  • 240V Dedicated Circuit Installation — essential for high-power sauna heaters
  •  Control Panel & Thermostat Wiring — for easy, safe temperature control
  •  Infrared Sauna Hookups — often 120V, but may still need a dedicated line
  •  Heat-Rated Lighting Installations — lighting that can handle heat & moisture
  •  GFCI & Proper Grounding — safety-first in every setup
  • Ventilation & Code Consultation — we make sure it’s safe, smart, and up to spec

Pool Wiring & Bonding

Installing a pool isn’t just about the water — it’s about powering the pumps, lights, and heaters safely, and making sure everything is properly bonded and grounded to protect people in and around the water.

We specialize in safe, code-compliant pool electrical work, whether you’re installing an in-ground pool, above-ground pool, or a new spa/pool combo.

POOL WIRING: What’s Involved?

Dedicated 240V circuits for:

  • Pool pump(s)
  • Heaters
  • Saltwater chlorinators
  • Pool lights
  • Automation systems

POOL BONDING: What It Is & Why It Matters

Bonding is not the same as grounding. It connects all metal parts (whether powered or not) to equalize voltage and reduce shock risk.

We’ll bond:

  • Pool water (via a bonding fitting)
  • Pool pump/motor housing
  •  Any metal pool ladder or handrail
  •  Light fixtures
  • Rebar or mesh in concrete decks (equipotential bonding grid)
  • NEC requires #8 bare copper wire for bonding, and all connections must be continuous and visible for inspection.

GFCI protection is required for nearly all pool equipment.

Outdoor-rated conduit and weatherproof boxes are a must.

Timer systems or smart controllers can be integrated for convenience.
